The crisis at the border between the United States and Mexico has left many migrants displaced and living in extreme poverty. One Arlingtonian is doing her part to help. Jean Sicurella partnered up with a Mexican pastor to create the nonprofit Misión de Caridad. The organization strives to help create a world in which women and children from refugee, migrant and local populations can live with dignity, with the means to meet basic needs like food, housing, education, health, and safety. ACMi News Correspondent Toby Barrett sat down with Jean to learn more about the important work this Arlington resident is doing at the border.
