The Cyrus Dallin Art Museum is preparing for their Summer Soiree, a fundraising event on Sunday, August 9 that runs from 6 to 8 pm at the Whittemore Robbins House in Arlington Center. Museum Director Geri Tremblay tells APN about the unveiling of a classic Cyrus Dallin sculpture, On the Warpath, that will be the highlight of the event. Meticulously restored by Utah Valley University professor and certified forensic sculptor Dr. Daniel Fairbanks, who will be on hand to formally present it, the piece is the latest addition to the Museum’s impressive collection of Dallin’s Native American sculptures. The Summer Soiree is generously sponsored by the Dallin family, Daniel Johnson, Winchester Cooperative Savings Bank, Century Bank, Leader Bank, Watertown Savings Bank, and American Alarm.
