Governor Baker, State Representatives, State Senators, and community leaders, we ask that you work together to take immediate action to address the environmental challenges facing our generation. We demand Massachusetts leaders and voters:
1. Declare a State Climate Emergency
2. Back the Green New Deal
3. Sign the Fossil Fuel Free Pledge
4. Integrate Sustainability Project Based Learning in All Public K-12 Schools including but not limited to zero waste campaigns, school farm programs, native pollinator habitat and forest stewardship on school grounds, environmental podcasts, field research on local environmental impacts and net zero energy campaigns
5. Ban Polystyrene such as Styrofoam State-Wide
6. Ban Single Use Plastic including plastic bags, straws and bottles State-Wide
7. Create Industrial Composting, Recycling and Renewable Energy Systems in every School, Town and State Building
8. Enact Effective State Regulations to Protect our Water, Air and Soil from Pollution
9. Charge for all forms of Carbon Pollution
