What’s Next for the Pedrini Case?

Lively feedback in a lengthy and, at times, contentious select board meeting this month. This in wake of that public letter released last month by town manager Adam Chapdelaine as to why he chose the “restorative justice process” for Arlington police Lieutenant Richard Pedrini.

You’ll recall, Pedrini published some unsettling comments in a police magazine last fall, was temporarily suspended as a result, underwent the town’s “restorative justice” program, and was re-instated to the force in the spring.

Last week, the select board was not unanimous in its endorsement of Mr. Chapdelaine’s letter. ACMi news director Jeff Barnd has an update on this story from town hall and gets reaction from town leaders and those who are not satisfied with how the town has handled this matter.
