AHS Guidance on “College Admission Videos” set for May 15th at ACMi Studio B

On Wednesday May 15th from 7–9:30 PM, Arlington Community Media Inc (ACMI) will host a discussion led by the Arlington High School (AHS) Guidance Department about the increasing demand by colleges for admission videos from prospective students. AHS guidance counselors will open the evening program with an introduction to the topic and a discussion of the importance for students to use video self profiles to compete for acceptance to the college of their choice.
Examples of videos will be presented, including an AHS Athletic Department presentation, an AHS athletic student’s video, and a presentation by ACMI’s Youth Coordinator, Daniel Black, highlighting how ACMI can help students create their video profiles. There will be time for questions and answers at the conclusion of the presentation.
